REVIEW – FOREVER LIVING (2021) – LEGIT? SCAM? READ NOW!

Welcome to my review on Forever Living.

Is it a scam, or is it legit? First, I will talk about what an MLM business model is; Second, I will talk about how a person can join this company, and of course, finally and possibly most important, how easy or difficult it is to make money with Forever Living Company. I’ll refer to this as the Forever living Compensation Plan. I hope you enjoy the read.

Introduction to Forever Living

Forever Living appears to be a top-rated company in the MLM world that is famous for its Aloe Vera derived products.

According to their website, they are “a multi-billion dollar company that manufactures and sales hundreds of wellness and beauty products all around the world.” The company sells a broad range of products, including nutritional supplements, essential oils, skincare, and products centered around weight management.

To find out more about their products you can go here Foreverlivingproducts Forever Living was founded in 1978 by Rex Maughan. Their main headquarters is located in Arizona, USA.

What is an MLM Company?

Multi-level marketing (MLM) is a business model in which individual representatives receive commissions for selling products. This can happen through a variety of methods, including direct sales, referrals, or word-of-mouth. However, representatives also receive financial compensation by having people in their downline who are also selling the company’s products.

When the downline members make a sale, the person who recruited them also makes money. This hierarchical commission model is dependent on both product sales and future sign-ups.

MLM companies are often referred to as network marketing, referral marketing, or pyramid schemes. MLM companies are notorious for overpriced marketing products. More than likely, this is because they have to pay their representatives commissions on top of what the company makes.

How to Join Forever Living…

What does all this mean for you? There are a couple of options when it comes to joining Forever Living. Mostly, people join through word of mouth. The most common way is to get an invite to a Forever Living party by a friend or co-worker, where an FBO (Forever Business Owner) displays and discuss products and their health benefits. This is similar to how other MLMs work, such as Avon and Mary Kay. At the end of the party, orders are taken, and if you are interested in becoming an FBO, you sign up and are sponsored by the person you bought the product from.

However, if you don’t have a sponsor or someone who refers you, that’s no problem either. You can sign up through their website and have one assigned. I do have some good news though, Forever Living has no membership or joining fees to get started, but there’s always a catch, right?

Those who join and become an FBO have to purchase products, which, from my perspective, are not what I would call inexpensive. And you don’t get any sample products to get started, either. According to the Terms and Conditions, you must basically purchase 2 CC’s (case credits) to get started. One case credit is awarded for every $214 of sales. To get started as an FBO, you must purchase $428 worth of products right out of the gate. (These amounts may change or vary. Forever Living may have sales going on, etc.)

The Forever Living Compensation Plan

As a business owner, it is your job to sell as much product as feasible. The more you sell, the more you earn. Also, you can earn more if you are promoted up the ladder, as indicated in the image below:

Being promoted isn’t easy and you must meet certain sales criteria. For instance, in the first case of Assistant Supervisor, you need to generate two personal and non-manager case credits within any two consecutive months. The more case credits you produce within a two month period, the higher you promote and the more discounts and bonuses you earn.

And then…also as an FBO, remember, your job is to sell as much of the company’s products as possible. The more you sell, the more you’ll make. Since this is a tiered system, you’ll need to recruit and sponsor other FBO’s. The idea is to sell products and sponsor other people who are looking to join the company because your income is dependent upon their sales.

Is Forever Living a Scam or Legit?

Let me say, No, Forever Living is not a scam. First, it has been around for over 40 years, and second, I believe a certain type of person fits this business model. Although I believe it is a difficult business model to make money with; however, it is probably not impossible. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have the personality to convince people to join my “team”. This aspect of multi-level marketing has always been off-putting to me. I think it takes a certain personality type to push this type of agenda, and you must have people in your downline if your goal is to make money.

Also, getting people to sign up under you is only half the battle, as your income stream is dependent on their ability to sell and recruit. To achieve success, you must be good at selling and have a strong team under you.

Plus, you have to like the products yourself, particularly the Aloe Vera line, to be convincing enough to sell them to others. If you don’t, selling will feel forced and phony, and people can sniff that out. I’ve had many people try to convince me to sign up under their MLMs, and I’ve often wondered if they truly believe in the products themselves.

Essentially, I leave the decision in your hands. Basically, I think you know yourself best, so if you think you have a sales-type personality, have a high degree of motivation AND you work well under pressure, then you might want to do research and learn more about Forever Living.
