SEACRET Review (2021) – Scam or Legit? Read Now!

Hi, and welcome to my Seacret Review.

Maybe you were approached by someone who asked you to join this company or buy their products. Maybe now, you really want to know more about who they are and what they are really all about? Well, you’ve come to the right place to get all the answers before you make any decisions.

Today I’m going to give you an honest review of Seacret. Who are they? Are they a scam? What does their Compensation Plan look like? Is it for you, or should you look at other alternatives instead?  I hope you enjoy my Review on Seacret!

Who is Seacret?- The Company

Seacret is an MLM (Multi-Levell Marketing) company that focuses on nutrition and skincare products.

Seacret was founded somewhere between 2001 and 2005 by Ben Shabat and his brother. The years vary depending on whether you go by when they started to sell their products in kiosks in malls or when they actually started their company.

The following is a short introduction about Seacret and how they introduced their Dead Sea minerals from their native country into their products and started to sell them in 2001. It’s a short video, so I thought I’d include it here.

I also located a pretty in-depth article that talks about the company and its founders. The article is from Direct Selling News, and the article is titled: SEACRET: Built on Community. This will show a couple of discrepancies as far as when the company was founded, so take your pick, I guess. : )

What is an MLM Company?

Multi-level marketing (MLM) is a business model in which individual representatives receive commissions for selling products. This can happen through a variety of methods, including direct sales, referrals, or word-of-mouth. However, representatives also receive financial compensation by having people in their downline also sell their products.

When the downline members make a sale, the person who recruited them also makes money. This hierarchical commission model is dependent on both product sales and future sign-ups.

MLM companies are notorious for overpriced marketing products. More than likely, they have to pay their representatives commissions on top of what the company makes.

What do they Sell? Seacret’s Products

I know you will need to become familiar with their products if you choose to get involved with this company. Therefore, due to the company’s number of products, I thought it best to provide a link to where you might review their products for yourself.

Here is a link to their products. Seacret product catalog

What does their Compensation Plan look like?

Their compensation plan is like most MLM companies. You get paid commissions when you refer people to the business or sell products to others directly. They also offer bonuses if you meet various goals. This actually isn’t any different from other MLM companies.

However, Instead of detailing their compensation plan, I found a great video on YouTube that explains it for you.

This video is biased as the compensation plan is being discussed by someone who works for the company. Here is also a copy of their compensation plan in a pdf format for those who would rather view an actual document.

Seacret – Low Income Potential

It isn’t easy to reach the top layers in any MLM company, and at Seacret, it doesn’t appear any different. There is only 1% of independent distributors who reach the top level within most MLM companies. The majority of individuals who join MLM’s stay at the bottom tier and never earn any real money. I’ve copied their Earning Statement here from their Website, which indicates how low the average earner actually makes.

EARNINGS STATEMENT (from Seacret Website)

Diamond Agents and above earn annual income achieved by fewer than 1% of Seacret Agents. Their earnings are extraordinary and not typical. It is important that all potential Agents understand that everyone’s results will vary, as we are all unique and different. In the U.S. and Canada in 2019, the average Seacret Agent, who qualified to earn commissions, earned an annual income of $1,201.00, excluding any associated business costs.

As with most opportunities, you can find exceptional individuals performing well above average, while others perform below average or perhaps make no money at all. The earnings of an Agent are based solely on the successful sale of products to consumers in accordance with the Seacret Direct Compensation Plan. Agents will incur expenses in operating their Seacret business, such as the sign-up fee, optional product purchases, and the annual renewal fee.

It takes hard work to make a substantial income in this business and an Agent’s success is largely dependent upon their skills, work effort, commitment, leadership skills, and market conditions. Seacret Direct, LLC does not guarantee that any Agent will achieve any level of income or success.

Seacret – Scam or Legit?

Well, the answer to the pressing question is, No, Seacret is not a scam. I believe a certain type of person fits this business model. Although I believe it is a difficult business model to make money with, it is not impossible. Basically, they are a legitimate MLM company with actual products available for purchase.

Companies like this are often referred to as scams because people do not believe in the products or tried to make money with their business opportunities and failed to recruit anyone.

If someone has tried to recruit you into joining Seacret, always remember recruiters can make this opportunity sound too good to be true.

It’s the recruiter’s job to be as convincing as possible. Often, this causes people to get their hopes up, only to realize that reality is a lot different from what they’ve been promised. However, this doesn’t mean the business is a scam.
