I’m sure many of you have heard about the company Thirty-One Gifts, but I’m sure many have not. Even if you have heard, you probably still have questions. I’m going to try to answer your question and put any doubts or rumors you may have about this Company to rest.
Who are Thirty-one Gifts, and what do they sell? Are they an MLM company, and what does that mean? How do you join Thirty-One Gifts, and what does their Compensation Plan look like? Let’s dig in and answer these questions. I hope you enjoy my review.
The Company – Thirty-One Gifts
Thirty-One Gifts was founded by Cindy Monroe, who started the company in 2003 from her basement apartment. The name was derived from Proverbs 31, which empowers women and captures the importance of a “Virtuous Woman.” Monroe encouraged women to start their own businesses by providing them with the necessary tools to succeed. Thirty-One Gifts are about empowering women as they introduced innovative products, marketing, and selling through independent consultants’ sales organization, utilizing a direct selling model.
Between 2010 and 2014, Cindy Monroe received several awards, including Entrepreneur of the Year, Forty under 40, and the Enterprising Women of the Year.
In 2011 and again 2016 the Company went through some restructuring, at which time employees were laid off and a some office buildings were closed.
In July 2020, Kanbrick, the new investment firm founded by Tracy Britt Cool and Brian Humphrey, had taken a stake in Thirty-One Gifts. Tracy Britt Cool has experience in leading a direct selling company. The Thirty-One business family is expected to benefit from both acceleration and innovation. Elizabeth Thibaudeau, former CEO of Jamberry and a seasoned executive with contemporary direct selling experience, was appointed as the new chief executive officer at Thirty-One; however, Monroe will remain with the company but will step down as CEO.
What is an MLM?
Multi-level marketing (MLM) Multi-Level-Marketing is a type of business model in which individual representatives receive commissions for selling products. This can happen through a variety of methods, including direct sales, referrals, or word-of-mouth. However, representatives also receive financial compensation by having people in their downline who are also selling the company’s products. This business model is dependent on both product sales and future sign-ups.
MLM companies are notorious for overpriced marketing products. More than likely, this is because they have to pay their representatives commissions on top of what the company makes.
Thirty-One Gifts – The Products
If you didn’t know this already, Thirty-One Gifts specializes in the women’s fashion niche; however, they do have gifts now for men too.
The company specializes in being able to personalize any item you purchase from them. They make things in personal accessories, purses, organizer bags, totes, lunch bags, thermal bags, face masks, wallets, and home decor.
They have a large inventory of products so I couldn’t really list them all here…
How to Join Thirty-One Gifts?
There are two way you can join. First, you can join as an insider; second, you can join as a consultant.
As an insider, basically, you’re hosting parties. The parties can be virtual or themed.They leave that up to you. According to there website. There’s no limit to the perks Thirty-One Insiders can earn. When you help your friends shop, you unlock freebies.
Insider Exclusives and Insider Rewards are available to Insiders with qualifying party totals of $200 or more. The number of Insider Exclusives you can purchase and the number of free and/or half-price items you can receive depends on your qualifying party total. Insiders with qualifying party totals above $1,000 earn $20 for every additional $100 in qualifying party sales.

The second way to join is by becoming a consultant. To do this, you have to go to their website and complete online enrollment, at which time, you will choose an enrollment kit you wish to get started with. There are three to choose from. The first one is the Basic Best Seller Kit for $59; the second one is the Signature Fan Favorites Kit for $99, and the third is the Ultimate #GoalGetter Kit for $179.

Can you Earn Money with Thirty – One Gifts?
I think it would be challenging to earn a living with Thirty-One Gifts. If you want to make a couple extra hundred dollars a month or want discounts on the products, then signing up with this company may be all you need.
If you watched the video above and took a close look at the chart I posted, you would notice that pretty much only the top 1-2% are making any real money in this company.
Thirty-One Gifts is pretty much like any other MLM Company when it comes to how you earn money, and there are two ways that you can do this. The first is to sell their products to earn bonuses and commissions. The second is to recruit members into the business.
Even though it is not impossible, it is a challenging business model to make money with. Additionally, your success with the MLM structure depends on your team members, who signed up under you. Unless they are active and making sales, your earning potential is limited. To achieve success, you must be good at selling and have a strong team under you.
Thirty-One Gifts – Final Thoughts
Essentially, as always, I leave the decision in your hands. I believe it takes a certain personality type to push this type of agenda, and you must have people in your downline if your goal is to make money.
No, I do not believe Thirty-One Gifts is a scam. I do believe they are a legitimate MLM company that has been around since 2003. They are accredited with the BBB/Thirty-OneGifts with an A+ Rating. They do have complaints, but there is no company around where you will not find some complaints. Overall, it seems they have a quality product, even while making a high earning potential may be limited. I also believe that a certain personality type fits this business model.
Even though it is not impossible, it is a challenging business model to make money with. Additionally, your success with the MLM structure depends on your team members, who signed up under you. Unless they are active and making sales, your earning potential is limited. To achieve success, you must be good at selling and have a strong team under you.
If you are not comfortable with selling and recruiting, then you might want to think twice. To achieve success, you must be good at selling and have a strong team under you.
One must also remember that there’s no substitute for hard work, consistency, and self-motivation for success with any business, especially an online business.
